About
A lifelong resident of the San Gabriel Valley, Christopher has a deep connection to Baldwin Park, having chosen it as the place to raise his son and contribute to the community's growth. With a background in History from Arizona State University and studies in Urban Planning and Sustainability, he is well-equipped to serve the city's diverse needs.
In his role, Christopher has worked tirelessly to promote civic engagement by filling commission seats, encouraging voter registration, and making city government more accessible to the public. His efforts have significantly increased transparency and participation in local governance.
Beyond his official duties, Christopher is a proud father and a firm supporter of organized labor, valuing its role in strengthening middle-class families—a reflection of his upbringing in a union household. He is passionately involved in community service, actively participating in the Kiwanis Club, his church, Baldwin Park Little League, and his son's school activities. His commitment extends to fostering youth involvement in the community through student internships and supporting student commissioners in the City Clerk's Office.
Christopher's public service also includes impactful roles on the Recreation and Community Services Commission, the Planning Commission, and the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee. While serving as a City Commissioner, he focused on making meaningful improvements in safety, infrastructure, and efforts to prevent homelessness.
